How much does pool service cost in Phoenix? (2026)
Prices for weekly pool service in the Valley vary a lot by company and by pool. Rather than quote an "average" we can't verify, this guide explains what drives the price so you can compare quotes fairly. We'll add local price data once we've collected it directly from listed pros.
What's usually included
- Skimming, brushing and emptying baskets
- Testing and balancing water chemistry
- Checking the pump, filter and equipment
Ask whether chemicals are included or billed separately. This is the biggest difference between quotes.
What changes the price
- Pool size and features: spas, water features and heavy landscaping add time.
- Chemicals: Arizona heat and sun burn off chlorine faster, so summer chemical use rises.
- Filter cleans: often a separate charge.
- Repairs: pumps, motors and heaters are quoted separately. Repairs should come from a contractor with a pool service and repair license (R-6, CR-6 or C-6).
How to compare quotes
- Get two or three written quotes with the same scope.
- Confirm what's included and how chemicals are billed.
- For repair work, verify the ROC license.
- Ask about contract terms and cancellation.
